Welcome to the Damn The Torpedoes web page.

Unmistakably the East Coast's most prolific Tom Petty Tribute Band, Damn The Torpedoes have been mesmerizing audiences throughout The New York Tri-State area since forming in the Fall of 2007.  Formed and fronted by Singer/Songwriter and New Jersey native Rich Kubicz, DTT are rounded out by some of the tri-state area's top musicians:

Saul Abrams (Bass and backing vocals), Brian Malone (Lead Guitar) , Mark Haughton (Drums and backing vocals) and Dex Sanders (Keyboards, Harmonica and backing vocals).

Every performance is true to the spirit and essence of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.  Rich has the Tom Petty look and sound.  The group also pride themselves on utilizing the same equipment as the Heartbreakers just so as not to leave any stone unturned.

Patrons attending a DTT show will be assured of an incredible experience.  In addition, venues hosting DTT can be assured that they will receive a professional, top level act with a respectable following.

Mistaken Identity:

DTT are TWO bands in one having added “non-Petty” material to their song list.  The band is now covering classic rock hits from the 60's to today simply under the name Mistaken Identity for venues that specify that preference.
